CPL, the multidisciplinary design firm headquartered in Perinton, has enhanced its presence in Ohio with the acquisition of Andrews Architects.
Based in Columbus, Andrews Architects has developed expertise in the health care industry and established long-term client relationships across the state.
CPL now has two Ohio offices (the other is in Cleveland), enabling the firm to expand its reach into the Midwest.
“This partnership is about more than geography, it’s about people,” Todd Liebert, CEO of CPL, said in a news release. “Andrews Architects brings a wealth of health care knowledge, a strong presence in Columbus and a team that shares our commitment to excellence and innovation.”
Andrews Architects was founded in 1978 and has delivered notable health care and senior living projects, including Mercy Health Perrysburg Cancer Center and the Orthopedic ONE facility in Gahanna.
“As a smaller firm, we’ve built a strong legacy in the Columbus market,” said Shital Galani, the Andrews’ president and CEO. “Partnering with CPL allows us to scale our impact while staying true to who we are.”
This is CPL’s third acquisition this year. In January, the firm added Clark & Post Architects, Inc., of Ohio, and Commonwealth Architects in Richmond, Virginia.
