Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, in partnership with GrowthX, has launched the next round of its business-to-business (B2B) sales program, welcoming 15 businesses from Rochester and Buffalo.
The Revenue Accelerator provides virtual, one-on-one sales coaching for regional B2B tech startups over the course of 16 weeks, along with practical go-to-market knowledge, skills and job networking for students at Golisano Institute.
The GrowthX sales program has seen nationwide success, assisting over 300 B2B startups across 60 rising cities and more than 20 technology sectors.
Through a competitive application process, 12 businesses from Rochester and three from Buffalo were selected to participate.
Rochester startups include: Sayhii, Phlotonics, Belvista Software, Agri-Trak, Cognivue, Sign-Speak, Emmitec Health, PERKY, Reliant EHS, TheirStory, InfoPreserve, and IndiVillage. Buffalo startups include: Kickfurther, CoverRight and HELIX Intel.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the Revenue Accelerator,” said Paul Estes, president and CEO of Cognivue, a Victor-based neuroscience company. “Sales can make or break a growing business like ours, and this program gives us the coaching we need to better reach the healthcare providers we serve and continue expanding access to cognitive assessment tools that support patients and their care teams.”
During the program, selected companies will have full access to Golisano’s campus center, including the recently opened AI Innovation Hub.
“The participating businesses were selected not only for their dedication to the program, but also for their commitment to supporting our students,” said Ian Mortimer, president of Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship. “With most of the cohort based locally, students will gain valuable in-person exposure to real-world business successes and challenges while we continue helping the region’s startups in achieving their revenue and sales goals.”
