What trends or innovations in your industry do you anticipate having the biggest impact in 2025?
We’re watching a few trends for 2025. Technology, especially AI, is enhancing client experiences. The competition for Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients will be fierce. Advisors are shifting toward holistic, personalized financial planning, moving beyond traditional portfolio management and expanding into advising on a complete financial picture. Market dynamics suggest potential rallies in sectors like Big Tech and AI, though caution is advised due to volatility risks. As advisors, it’s critical to stay vigilant and flexible, preparing clients for a range of scenarios while focusing on long-term goals.
What community initiatives or partnerships are you most excited about engaging with this year?
It is an honor to contribute to impactful initiatives within the Rochester community. As a Board member of the University of Rochester Medical Center, I am dedicated to improving access to health care across our region. I was also privileged to serve as the keynote speaker for the 2025 Susan B. Anthony Birthday Celebration, hosted by our local treasure, the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House. Drawing from my career as founder and CEO of LVW Advisors, I shared insights on empowering individuals and organizations to achieve financial success, purpose and to support our Rochester treasure.
How do you balance fostering innovation while managing day-to-day business operations?
At LVW, we’ve built an exceptional team to handle day-to-day operations with expertise and care, allowing me to focus on driving innovation and growth. With their support, I concentrate on exploring new tools, investment opportunities, and strategies, like digital marketing, and finding creative ways to integrate them into our highly personal, client-focused business. Thanks to the team’s dedication and operational excellence, we remain agile, enhancing the client experience and preparing for what’s ahead. It’s a rewarding collaboration that inspires both personal and professional growth.
