ESL Federal Credit Union awarded 105 grants totaling $7.4 million in the third quarter to local organizations providing critical services and programs to individuals and families.

ESL and its Community Impact team partners with, and reinvests in, the community through philanthropic grants aligned with expanding individual opportunity through education and employment, building strong neighborhoods that are affordable and connected and strengthening organizations.
The Ibero American Action League was awarded $255,000 to increase the number of individuals and families it can serve at its Community Resource Center. Services and resources will help families who are participating in Ibero’s new workforce development program.
So far, over 150 individuals have benefited from the program’s services and its client list continues to grow, the organization noted.
“This grant will empower us to expand opportunities, provide valuable training and help individuals build the skills needed to succeed in today’s job market,’ said Juan G. Rivera Jr., director of workforce development for Ibero American Action League. “Together, we are driving positive change and strengthening our community’s economic future.”
