RBJ announces 2024 Icon Honors honorees

Icon HonorsThe Rochester Business Journal has selected 20 individuals as 2024 Icon Honors recipients.

Icon Honors recognizes Rochester business leaders, over the age of 60, for their notable success and demonstration of strong leadership within and outside their fields. The honorees have moved their businesses and Rochester forward by growing jobs and making a difference in the community.

To be eligible for Icon Honors, honorees must have a long-standing commitment to the Rochester business community and significant professional accomplishments through innovation and leadership. Honorees must also be champions of their industries and demonstrate a sustained commitment to community service. They may be in the workforce or retired and must hold or have held senior management-level positions with significant authority in decision-making for their organizations.

“The 2024 Icon Honors recipients are outstanding leaders who spark innovation and progress, meeting a variety of challenges to make the Greater Rochester community a better place to live and work. They are also role models who serve as mentors to others,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal. “Congratulations to this year’s inspirational recipients.”

The 2024 Icon Honors recipients will be honored Dec. 16 at The Genesee Valley Club, 421 East Avenue in Rochester, starting at 4 p.m. with a general networking reception featuring food stations and drinks followed by an awards program at 5:15 p.m. The event hashtag is #RBJevents.

Attendance is limited for this event and will sell out. Honorees and sponsors get the first chance to secure tables. Sponsorship benefits include a table for guests, multimedia marketing, an ad in the awards publication, logo usage and more. Tables are only available with sponsorship.
