What is your biggest professional goal for the rest of this year?

Now that our firm is back to full pre-pandemic staffing, we are working to integrate our newest employees into our work family, to be sure they are comfortable with our firm culture and understand and adhere to our standards for how we conduct ourselves professionally and in representing our clients. This goal will take longer than the next six months to accomplish, but it is a priority for the remainder of 2024.

What are your favorite aspects of the types of law you practice?

I love the fact that, when done well, representing high-net-worth trusts and estates clients requires the use of all the facets of my intellect and all of my people skills. In what other field are you routinely dealing with end-of-life crises, death, family dynamics, money, and complex tax issues? When I’m working on behalf of my clients, I feel as if both my heart and brain are fully engaged, and doing the job well satisfies my desire to help people while enjoying a high level of intellectual stimulation.

What is your favorite time of year in the Rochester region and why?

Nothing compares to fall in Upstate New York — its natural beauty, the wonderful weather, Bills football and so much more. I enjoy all of it.
