Chief Executive Officer, DGA Builders, LLC
Years in current role: 2
What are you most excited about for your organization over the rest of the year?
Looking forward to being involved in our growth as one of the top contractors in our area. Then seeing the staff grow to achieve their personal goals and happiness within the DGA family. I enjoy walking around our office and seeing staff interacting with each other at a level beyond just business. We truly have great, dedicated staff who can execute at a high level for our clients and show how much they enjoy their jobs and coworkers.
What was your biggest challenge last year?
Managing our growth with continued challenges of interest rates and material lead times. New construction starts in certain sectors of our company have been hurt with the interest rates, which has led to a larger backlog of projects we have dedicated staff to. The executive team has been hard at work planning strategies to ensure project diversity that has allowed us to pivot as needed and has created a good road map to execute our backlog when the time is right.
What are your expectations for the Rochester region over the next 3-5 years?
Rochester has a great base of good people who are passionate about the community’s success along with a strong future of talented youth coming from our top schools and universities. With that said, I am optimistic that our region will continue good growth and make positive moves to keep the talent and attract great companies.
