What are you most excited about for your organization over the rest of the year?
Delivering new space to several exciting tenants across many different industries and several locations throughout upstate New York. We are also keeping our eye on the market looking for great investment opportunities.
What was your biggest challenge last year?
My biggest challenge this year would be navigating the construction projects mentioned above. Also constantly looking to retain and hire the best people in a competitive job market.
What do you wish you knew about your industry when you were first starting?
Thanks to growing up and discussing real estate from a young age, I feel I was well prepared to enter the world of commercial real estate. However, I’m always learning from successful people within our company and industry.
What are your expectations for the Rochester region over the next 3-5 years?
My hope is manufacturing makes a comeback as we can see the groundwork has been laid with the efforts of many people in this community. There are several large projects that will be creating jobs, and we have a generally positive outlook for the future.
What is your favorite thing to do in the Rochester area?
I strongly feel Rochester has so much to offer in maintaining a healthy lifestyle including a work/life balance. My favorite moments are with my family watching or coaching my kids’ sports. In summer, you can find me out on any of our beautiful Finger Lakes or on the ski slopes during winter.
