Taylor begins construction of Everhome Suites in Greece
Construction is underway on the area’s first Everhome Suites, the newest extended stay brand under the Choice Hotels flag.
Taylor, the Builders recently broke ground on what will be a four-story, 114,-room hotel at 500 Bellwood Dr in Canal Ponds Business Park. The hotel will be a neighbor of another Choice Hotels extended stay brand, WoodSpring Suites, which also was built by Taylor, the East Rochester-based general contractor.
Construction on the 57,000-square-foot property is scheduled to be completed in mid-2025. The developer has not been named.
“We are proud to help deliver an Everyhome Suites in Upstate New York as part of our exciting new relationship with this national hotel developer and continued relationship with Choice Hotels,” Taylor president Karl Schuler said in a news release.
“Taylor looks forward to building many more with this development team, as they thrive on their ability to bring another highly successful brand to markets that guests in the midscale extended stay segment will love.”
Everhome Suites feature apartment-style rooms with fully equipped kitchens and “customizable ‘me’ spaces,” including workstations, full-size closets, additional storage and spa-like bathrooms.
Common spaces include fitness centers, business centers, libraries, guest laundries and a 24/7 marketplace.
