Commercial real estate services firm CBRE has merged its offices in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse and Albany to create CBRE Upstate NY.
The offices were independently owned affiliates of global titan CBRE Group, Inc. The local ownership partnership will not change for CBRE Upstate NY.
The four regional offices will remain, and no personnel changes are being made, but the initiative is meant to provide clarity for the marketplace.
“Our brokerage teams have worked closely as CBRE affiliates for many years and we collectively felt it was more appropriate to identify as a unified entity, rather than by city name, to emphasize our streamlined service offerings and collective expertise across the state,” said Jonathan Murray, director of marketing and research in the Rochester office.
“Our individual brokers and agents are still going to provide the local expertise that our clients demand,” Murray said.
Correspondence and signage will be changing from CBRE|Rochester to CBRE Upstate NY.
