LandPro Equipment broke ground Tuesday on a new facility in Batavia that will house the firm’s agricultural, commercial, construction and homeowner sales and service operations in Genesee County.

The company, headquartered in the Chautauqua County village of Falconer, is building a 50,000-square-foot facility on West Saile Drive. The new location also will house the company’s Precision Farming Division and a new training facility for customer and employee clinics and equipment demonstrations.

Thompson Builds of Churchville is the contractor. The project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2022.

LandPro, an authorized John Deere dealer for western New York, eastern Ohio and northwest and central Pennsylvania, has 18 locations, including five in the Rochester area (Macedon, Avon, Brockport, Alexander and Oakfield). The Oakfield and Alexander locations will merge into Batavia once the facility is completed.
