Local architecture, construction firms prominent in national rankings

Three local companies are prominent in the ranking of the nation’s Top 100 Architecture/Engineering firms in the 44th edition of Building Design+Construction’s Giants 400 Report.

CPL ranks 44th with revenue of $36,567,217, Bergmann is 47th ($32.4 million) and SWBR is 65th ($19,590,432). Each firm also climbed on the list. CPL was 46th a year ago, Bergmann was 60th and SWBR was 87th.

LaBella Associates ranks 21st on the Top 40 Engineering/Architecture list with revenue of $45,666,343.

SEI Design Group is No. 112 on the Top 155 Architecture firms with revenue of $12,372,493 while M/E Engineering is No. 42 on the Top 75 list of Engineering firms.

On the construction side, LeChase Construction Service is No. 65 ($888,599,511) and LaBella No. 125 ($35 million) on the Top 135 Contractor list.

LaBella also is 27th on the list of the Top 85 Construction Management and Project Management firms (revenue of $32,771,451) while LeChase is No. 34 ($18,199, 155).

The contractors list reflects projects where all revenue flows through the contractor. The Construction Management lists firms that derive revenue through fees, according to the publication.
