Qureshi to lead Noyes Memorial Hospital primary care

The University of Rochester Medical Center has tapped Sohail Qureshi to lead Dansville’s Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital’s Primary Care Practice.

Previously, Qureshi served as medical director of respiratory therapy at Noyes Memorial, as well as running a private internal medicine practice. He will be joined by LPN Lynn Fires and secretary Robin Smith at his new post.

“For many years, Dr. Qureshi has been a respected community colleague and collaborator. Now we’re thrilled to welcome him and his patients to UR Medicine/Noyes Health in a more formal way,” says UR Medicine|Noyes Health CEO Amy Pollard, in a statement. “We look forward to expanding Noyes’ primary care practice with Dr. Qureshi and his staff in the months and years to come.”

Noyes Memorial Hospital is part of the URMedicine|Noyes Health System, which serves patients in Livingston County and parts of Steuben, Allegany and Ontario counties.
