Wegmans celebrates Holt Road store’s renovation
Listen to this articleWegmans is holding a grand re-opening celebration Nov. 11 for its Holt Road location in Webster, marking the end of a four-year renovation and expansion project.
“Our employees and our customers have been patient as we’ve worked through this exciting transition, and now it’s time to celebrate,” said Store Manager Tom Mulvehill.
Events include face painting, a magician, chef demonstrations and sampling stations for a variety of holiday foods, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.
Additions to the store include a pizza oven that cooks in three minutes or less; four self-checkout kiosks; an expanded, open-air prepared foods kitchen; more space for pre-cut vegetables; enlarged, self-serve prepared foods, and Market Café; new coffee bar; a catering team and other features.
The 27-year-old store’s parking lot was also renovated and 2,600 square feet were added to the building.
