Syracuse digital marketing firm expands to Rochester

The Digital Hyve, a digital marketing agency based in Syracuse, is expanding to Prince Street offices in Rochester, officials announced Wednesday.

Growth in clients in the area prompted the expansion.

“It makes sense for our shop to expand,” said cofounder Jeff Knauss. “As we’ve continued to build new relationships and clientele, it will be easier to service them and grow our community involvement in Rochester.”

Knauss previously lived in Rochester and worked at 13WHAM Television.

The company has 16 employees. Growing the Rochester branch is a priority over the next few months, officials said.

“Having the right people in the right positions is vital to creating meaningful connections on behalf of our clients,” said Sarah Mastrangelo, director of human resources and accounting for the firm. “As we are growing, we’re cautious of how and why we make decisions. What’s best for our clients, our agency and our employees are the three things we focus on during every decision we make as a company.”
