A powerhouse in the media world headlines a popular lecture series next week at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Randi Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media Inc. and former director of marketing at Facebook Inc., is the keynote speaker at the Saunders College of Business Gasser Lecture Series on Oct. 16. The lecture takes place during the university’s 2015 Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend.
Zuckerberg is deliver her address, titled “Entrepreneurship: Ten Exciting Trends Impacting Your Business Right Now.”
The event is open to the public.
Zuckerberg is the author of “Dot Complicated: Untangling Our Wired Lives,” host of “Dot Complicated” on SiriusXM radio, and editor in chief of DotComplicated.com. She is sister of the Facebook’s co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
“There are so many exciting trends that are impacting businesses today,” Zuckerberg said in a statement. “I am thrilled to share them with current and former RIT students and families during such a special weekend.”
The William D. Gasser lecture series is held annually by Saunders College of Business and is designed to advance interaction between business and academic communities.
It is made possible by a gift from the late John Wiley Jones, former honorary member of the RIT board of trustees and founder of Jones Chemicals Inc., in memory of William Gasser. Gasser taught accounting at RIT from 1967 until his death in 1977.
