The Greater Rochester area has more than 13,760 Xerox Corp. workers, including the firm’s largest manufacturing complex in Webster. Following are the document company’s chief operations in Monroe County.

Worldwide Business Services

Xerox Information Management

XIM was consolidated into a single worldwide support organization in 1999. It delivers information services to its customers and users.

Xerox Supplies Group

XSG was created in 1997 to establish Xerox supplies as the brand of choice for use in Xerox products and solutions and third-party companies. XSG develops and markets document supplies.

Global Solutions Group
Location: 400 Linden Oaks Parkway, Rochester
GSG offers a portfolio of document solutions and services to improve customers’ business results.

Production Solutions Group
Location: 290 Woodcliff Drive, Perinton
PSG, part of the Global Solutions Group, is made up of two principal components: publishing and printing.

North American Solutions Group
Location: Xerox Square
NASG develops, sells and supports Xerox documents and solutions throughout the United States and Canada. The organization was formed in 1999 and employs more than 20,000 people.
Xerox Connect, a wholly owned subsidiary reporting into NASG, also specializes in providing customers with information technology and systems integration solutions. Xerox Business Services provides outsourced document services and solutions to more than 5,200 client companies.

Xerox Intellectual Property Operations
Location: WillowBrook Office Park, Perinton
This group, part of Xerox Technology Enterprises, markets technology to other companies through patent and know-how licensing. The group is also responsible for building and defending the Xerox patent portfolio and assisting in the licensing of intellectual property from other companies.

Xerox Services Division
Location: Xerox Square
XSERV manages internal services for the corporation ranging from corporate security to the Xerox Document University in Leesburg, Va.

Office Systems Group:
Location: 200 Canal View Blvd., Rochester
OSG is leading the company’s advance into the digital office by providing world-class multifunction products called Document Centre Systems.

Small Office/Home Office Business
Location: 855 Publishers Parkway, Webster
The Small Office/Home Office Group creates and sells Xerox personal products to small business and SOHO customers, and it manages worldwide retail sales.

Office Products Operations

OPO Group was created to build profitable new office equipment dealer/reseller channels for other Xerox products in North America and Europe.

North American General Markets Group
Location: Xerox Square and 800 Phillips Road, Webster
The North American General Markets Group includes Xerox’s agent program as well as emerging channels such as telebusiness.

Wilson Center of Technology
Location: 800 Phillips Road, Webster
The center is the entry point for new marking and imaging technologies that go into Xerox products. The center has more than 300 scientists, engineers and administrative staff.
