The Center for Dispute Settlement announces the following appointments: Frederick Chase, director of programs and operations, and Kate Forest, director of training and education.

Building Controls & Services Inc. announces the following appointments: Thomas Ferger, systems engineer, and Joseph Hallmark, project manager.

Stone Construction Equipment Inc. announces the following appointments: Hass Beyer, district manager; Frank Wenzel, vice president of engineering; Chris Tertinek, vice president of process ergonomics; and Corey Strobel, manager for the West Coast region.

Carrie Bodell has joined the Farrell Edge as marketing coordinator. Prior to this appointment, she had been the production director at WLLH-AM in Boston.

Rick Leasure Realtors announces the following appointments: Linda Rothschild, broker associate, and Larry Mastrella, director of business development and relocation.

Nadja Choroszylow Steve has joined the firm of Underberg & Kessler LLP as an associate in the estates and trusts department. She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, as well as Medicare planning.

The Rochester City School District announces the appointment of Jody Bobbie to the position of coordinator for the Mentor Connection Program at Franklin High School. She will recruit, screen, train and match community volunteer mentors with ninth-graders.

Phillips, Lytle, Hitchcock, Blaine & Huber LLP announces Raymond Ruff has been named a partner. Also, Lucinda Lapoff has joined the firm as an associate.

LeChase Construction Services LLC announces the following promotions: Stephen Bills, William Mack and Richard Sugg, each to vice president; Richard Allen, Jack Goodrich and Michael Mallon, each to project executive; Mitch Havens, to general superintendent; and Duane Fregoe, to general project manager.

Kal Wysokowski has been named economic development manager for the village of Fairport. Previously, she had served as director and vice president of marketing and development for Tompkins County Area Development Agency.

The DeWolff Partnership LLP announces the promotion of David Nichols to partner within the firm. He has over 26 years of experience as a registered architect and has spent the last 13 years with DeWolff.

Thomas Flynn has been appointed Monroe Community College president. He has been with MCC for 25 years.

Buck & Pulleyn announces the following promotions: Bonnie Stofer, director of account management; Kate Sonnick, creative director; and Mike McDougall, director of public relations. In addition, Megan Bord has been hired as an account executive and Danielle DeVault has been brought on as a full-time account management intern.

Flower City Printing Inc. announces the following promotions: Mark Nevada has been promoted to pressroom manager, and Carin Adams has been promoted to the position of finishing department manager. In addition, Robert Nothnagle has been hired as the company’s materials manager.

Marilyn Hill has joined Hammer Lithograph Corp. as a senior sales consultant. She comes to the company from York Tape & Label, where she held the position of vice president.

Chad Joslyn has joined Kirlin Securities Inc. as a sales representative.

Linda Zuber has recently joined St. Joseph’s Villa as a major gifts specialist in the development office. She brings more than 25 years of experience to the role.

Digital Printing Inc. has promoted Edward Conolly to the position of director of marketing.

Cannon Design announces the appointment of Thomas Dee to director of construction services. Dee has been with the firm for 18 years and has served in both management and project roles.

Bob DiCesare has been named director, construction, for Tops Markets Inc. He will be responsible for all retail construction projects initiated for the company.

Laurie Dorywalski has joined the law firm of Osborn, Reed & Burke LLP as an associate attorney. She will focus her practice in civil litigation.

Valerie Milonas has joined the law firm of Wolford & Leclair LLP as an associate. Previously, she had worked as an attorney for the state Appellate Division Third Department and as a staff attorney for PSC Inc.

Cobblestone Capital Advisors LLC announces the addition of Robert Swartout as portfolio manager. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester and the university’s William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration. Swartout brings 15 years of experience to the position.

FleetBoston has recently named Christine Morris project manager and department manager within Fleet’s Investment Operations unit. She has been with Fleet since 1988.

St. John’s Home announces the following appointments: Victoria McCarthy, director of social work services, and the Rev. Herbert Berndt, director of pastoral care.

Ziff-Davis Education Inc. announces the appointment of Virginia Segerson as marketing manager of the Education Center. She will be responsible for marketing the center, including production of the course catalog and newsletter, as well as updates to the Web site and coordinating site promotions and publications.

David Dunn has been appointed director of the Roberts Cultural Life Center at Roberts Wesleyan College. He will be responsible for all aspects of management of the center. Dunn previously served eight years as music director of Rock House Youth Ministries at Greece Assembly of God Church.
