Western NY firm acquires R&D tax credit software company

MS Consultants, based in western New York, has acquired Tax Credit Hero for an undisclosed sum.
Tax Credit Hero, based in Texas, is a secure, cloud-based computing platform that provides CPAs, tax consultants and businesses conducting research and development (R&D) in the United States with a cost-effective solution to conduct R&D tax credit studies.
The acquisition of Tax Credit Hero aligns with Buffalo-based MSC’s commitment to innovation in the tax credit space and will expand the company’s existing service offerings.
“Acquiring this cost-effective solution for quick and accurate identification and substantiation of eligible R&D tax credits will ensure our customers maximize their incentives every year without overpaying for services,” said Dave Fabian, managing director of MSC. “As we continue to seek ways to utilize technology to better serve our customers, we look forward to the ways that Tax Credit Hero will advance our capabilities, saving our customers significant time and money.”
