Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. LLP announces the following new hires:
Richard Buch has been hired as senior tax accountant. He will be responsible for s-corp, partnership and individual tax returns and small business consulting. He most recently served as director of the Greater Canandaigua Family YMCA. He earned his B.S. in finance management from the College at Brockport.
Stephen Chamot has been hired as a staff accountant. He previously served as a staff accountant with Petrella Phillips LLP and is the owner of Geneva Weddings LLC. He earned his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Empire State College and is working on earning his master’s degree.
Tanya Taylor has been hired as a senior tax accountant. She previously served as senior tax accountant/office manager at Petrella Phillips LP. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher College.
Daniel Wright has been hired as senior tax manager. He brings over 30 years of experience in both public and private settings. He most recently served as senior manager of tax at Szymjowiak & Associates. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College and a master’s degree in taxation from Canisius College.
