Consler Corp. president Edward Ackley has left the company he helped found to take over Consler’s Filter Store catalog operation. Based in Honeoye Falls, Consler makes filtration equipment. It was acquired last year by the Delaware-based Graver Chemical Co.
Consler employs 60 and has sales of $10 million. Until his purchase of the catalog division, Ackley had stayed on with the Honeoye Falls firm as president and general manager to oversee the transition. Ackley completed the acquisition May 5.
The Filter Store catalog features replacement industrial filter elements, housings and assemblies made by Consler and other manufacturers. Taking over as general manager at Consler is Herbert Ego, formerly the filter maker’s director of sales and marketing.
