Glenna Colaprete is owner and CEO of Glenna & Co., an adult-use cannabis cultivator, and owner and CEO of Glenna’s CBD & Spa. Colaprete started the woman-owned company in 2015 (CBD – Colorado’s Brand Distributing LLC), after successfully treating her own chronic and painful nerve entrapment disability. She is an adjunct professor in the horticulture program teaching regulations in cannabis cultivation at FLCC. Colaprete is also a licensed cannabinoid cultivator, processor, distributor and retailer. She holds a B.S and M.S. Criminal Justice, Business and Advanced Certificate in Project Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She is also a dedicated wife and mother of three children, who all help with the business in various ways.

David L. Cook is a Partner at Phillips Lytle LLP and a leader of the firm’s Hemp/Cannabis Practice Team. He concentrates his practice in the area of environmental law and litigation, specifically focusing on commercial, real estate and agribusiness matters. Cook is recognized as one of the leading agribusiness lawyers in New York state – having played an integral role in major enforcement actions brought by federal and state regulators against agriculture operators, including major dairy and other agricultural operations, throughout the Northeast. He has represented hemp growers and processors in zoning and land use issues, litigation and regulatory matters.

Jacob Zoghlin is a Partner with The Zoghlin Group and chairs the firm’s Cannabis Law practice group. His practice focuses on environmental, zoning, land use, cannabis, energy and municipal law. He counsels individuals, businesses and municipalities, and helps them resolve their issues by advocating, educating, advising and litigating on their behalf. In his cannabis law practice, Zoghlin helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses the right way by navigating them through complex state and local requirements, advising them on license applications to the New York State Cannabis Control Board, assisting them with statutory and regulatory compliance, and helping them identify social equity benefits available under the Marihuana Regulations and Taxation Act. Zoghlin is also enthusiastically involved in the local and state community. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and Monroe County Bar Association, is a prolific blogger on legal issues, and has repeatedly lectured on, and participated as a panelist for, continuing legal education courses involving new, interesting, or emerging areas of law. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Cannabis Law Section, where he has chaired the Local Government Committee since 2022. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Flower City Arts Center (a Rochester-based non-profit), and previously served as an attorney observer on the Board of Directors for a Philadelphia-based nonprofit, the Senior Law Center.
