Local CPAs named to NYSSCPA ‘Forty Under 40’

Three local certified public accountants have been named to the inaugural “Forty Under 40” Awards by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Anthony Mangiameli and Tessa Spinelli, both from Insero & Co. CPAs LLP, and Garrett Wagner from C3 Evolution Group were named to the first class of up-and-comers in their field. NYSSCPA said each of the 40 individuals were being honored for excelling in their careers.

“These exceptional young financial professionals hold or have held important leadership roles in career-based or charitable organizations, have substantial involvement in their communities outside of their day-to-day work life, reside in New York state and are members of the NYSSCPA,” officials said.

Each person was nominated online by a colleague or peer who described their current work/life balance, accomplishments, impact on their community and why their nominee was deserving of the recognition.

Winners will be presented with an award during the NYSSCPA NextGen Conference, which has been moved to a virtual platform.
