AAA reveals area’s Four Diamond lodging properties

The DelMonte Lodge Renaissance Rochester Hotel & Spa in Pittsford, the 1795 Acorn Inn Bed and Breakfast in Canandaigua and del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo have retained Four Diamond status from AAA Western and Central New York.

They are the only properties in the Greater Rochester area honored by AAA, and among only 17 between Buffalo and Verona.

For 85 years, AAA has conducted in-person property inspections on behalf of its member travelers. To earn the Four Diamond designation, hotels and restaurants must pass a rigorous evaluation that includes unscheduled visits from inspectors.

AAA has recognized 1795 Acorn Inn since 1996, The DelMonte has been a Four Diamond property since 2010, and del Lago first achieved the status last year.
