Jaime Saunders is the President & CEO of United Way of Greater Rochester. The organization is celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2018 with a mission to unite the good will and resources of the community so that everyone can thrive.
At United Way, Saunders oversees a team of 75 full-time, part-time and regional staff members dedicated to making a positive impact in our community through strategic community investments, fundraising, grant administration, effective financial stewardship of donor dollars and participation in critical community initiatives. The organization brings in more than $30 million in support to the Greater Rochester community each year; nearly $14 million of which supports a network of 75 partner programs helping more than 200,000 local people with preventive, evidence-informed programs and services. Additional donations support hundreds of local health and human service organizations across the community.
Prior to joining United Way, Saunders served as the President and CEO of Willow Domestic Violence Center. Her 20-plus-year nonprofit career includes leadership roles at Foodlink, CGR and the Salvation Army.
Saunders holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Maxwell School of Public Citizenship at Syracuse University and degrees in Business, Sociology and Women’s Studies from Whittier College in California. She is a Rochester native and currently lives and works in the Rochester community.
