Dr. Gabriela Carranza, a reconstructive dental specialist, is the owner and Prosthodontist at Victor Prosthodontics (victorprosthodontics.com), and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester’s Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH). With a lifelong passion for improving the oral health of her community, Dr. Carranza studied dentistry for 15 years, including a 3-year residency in Prosthodontics at New York University and a Surgical Implant fellowship at the EIOH.
One of only two female Prosthodontists in private practice in the Greater Rochester Area, Dr. Carranza specializes in compromised and challenging cases, including patients born with genetic disorders, as well as patients who have experienced trauma or neglect.
She previously served as President of the Hispanic Dental Association at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health and is currently an advisor for the CQC Dental Laboratory Study Club. Originally from Guatemala, she is a strong supporter of Education for the Children USA, a non-profit foundation which provides funding for a school for underprivileged youth in Jocotenango, Guatemala.
Dr. Carranza lives in downtown Rochester, NY with her husband, Damian.
