Ann Marie Cook

ann-marie-cook-head-shot-12-17Ann Marie Cook is President/CEO for Lifespan of Greater Rochester. Before her current position, she was the Chief Operating Officer at Lifespan. She has been at Lifespan for over 22 years.

She is the chair of the Monroe County Council for Elders and serves as co-chair of the New York State Coalition on Elder Abuse.

She represents the Council of Agency Executives on the Rochester/Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative (RMAPI) and is the co-chair of the RMAPI service provider group. She also serves on the Systems Integration committee, which is working to connect human services, health care and education to better meet the needs of people in our community.

She currently serves on the following boards:
• Council of Agency Executives
• Highland Hospital Board
• LiveOn NY (NYC)
• Regional Health Information Organization
• UR Home Care

She also serves on Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s Working Group on the Aging and is part of a consortium of agencies working on a Livable Communities designation for our region.

Ms. Cook is the former chair of the New York State Coalition on Aging. She was a delegate to the 2005 White House Conference on Aging.

In 2018, she was an Athena Award nominee and was a receipient of the Edward Mott Moore Award from the Monroe County Medical Society. In 2012, she received the State Society on Aging’s Presidents Award for providing leadership in the field of aging.

Ms. Cook holds a MPA degree from SUNY Brockport.
