Introducing the enhanced
2018 Reader Rankings awards!

Last year, Rochester Business Journal and The Daily Record honored more than 165 winners in more than 55 categories in our inaugural Reading Rankings program.  This year, we are building upon that success by not only allowing you to vote for your favorite companies but to also help us identify which companies should be included on the ballot.

We’ve made numerous changes to the process to ensure the validity of the contest and to offer more opportunities for you to participate, including our new logo and two rounds of voting.

Voting Round 1

The first round is nominations. This will be a lot like voting last year. It will start March 15 and run through April 1. The nomination ballots will be online so you can complete them from any digital device. Online nominations will be limited to 1 voting ballot per day.

Voting Round 2

The second round of voting will be multiple choice, with the top nominees from each category advancing to the ballot (minimum nominees per category is 2 and maximum is 3). This round of voting will start on April 30 and run through May 14.

Reader Ranking Event

We will be celebrating all of the nominees and announcing the winners at our first annual Rochester Reader Rankings event in July.

The Reader Rankings magazine will publish the last week of July — but all of the event attendees will get an advance copy at the awards celebration. The magazine will include content about our winners and provide each winners website and address so you can visit their business. Each finalist will also receive a Reader Rankings plaque for their office.
