QCI Asset Management Inc.

If you think the outside of the QCI Asset Management Inc. office is cool, you should check out the interior.

QCI has been in the state-of-the-art facility on Route 96 in Bushnell’s Basin since August 2018.

What was originally a bland concrete building now features Shou Sugi Ban or charred cedar, an ancient Japanese technique of preserving wood.

Large weathered COR-TEN steel planters and a dry creek bed lead to a peaceful outdoor sitting area, while QCI’s sign is hand made of COR-TEN and illuminated at night.

Inside, the open floor plan is complemented by floor-to-ceiling glass offices, a handmade edge wood conference table in the main conference room, and beautiful, state-of-the-art OLEDWorks lighting throughout the office. A floating wood cloud decorates the lobby, and wood baffles run the perimeter of the ceiling.

The OLEDWorks lighting system is energy efficient and provides a “happy light spectrum” for employees and clients.

Nick Carleton and his team at Weld Works created all the furniture and steel accents inside and outside the building by hand.

To address COVID-19 concerns, QCI built a robust remote access virtual desktop interface system. Through foresight and investment in technology, the company was able to have the entire staff fully functioning while working remotely from home.
