As the former headquarters of Bausch & Lomb Inc., Legacy Tower is a landmark of Rochester’s distinctive skyline. Reaching 20 stories into the Rochester sky, it is downtown’s second tallest building and is known for its dramatic design and the glass-enclosed Wintergarden event space.
With more than 460,000 square feet of space, the Class A office tower is home to several top companies including Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, Underberg & Kessler LLP, Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP and more.
This stunning building is open to the public and features a full-service restaurant on the second floor, a café on the first floor, the Geisel Art Gallery, a fitness center, a 100-seat training room and boasts an impressive two-story lobby with granite, limestone and polished marble floors.
Built in 1995, Legacy Tower is the newest Rochester skyscraper and is one of the first buildings you see as you enter downtown Rochester from I-490. The addition of LED lights to the tower’s iconic peak help light up the skyline and support local and national causes.
Buckingham Properties acquired the property in 2014 when the tower was roughly half full. In five years, occupancy rate has increased to more than 95 percent.
