Partner/Owner David Mastrella spent time collecting employee input on what factors contribute to an innovative office space before designing Envative’s Rochester location at 550 E. Main St. The result is an open, collaborative environment for the staff of 24.
Mastrella’s goal was to create a fresh and modern atmosphere for the software development company. Features of Envative’s office include upgrading to LED lighting, a new kitchen and new office furnishings and equipment.
Besides gutting the interior for a brand new space, Envative added new windows, window treatments and projecting signage “to enhance the pedestrian experience downtown.”
When COVID-19 hit Rochester, Envative leaders quickly ordered hand sanitizing stations and Envative-branded face masks to keep employees safe at work. They are also in the midst of reviewing the effectiveness of state-of-the-art air filtration systems for the office.
Envative partnered with general contractor Dan Cavatassi, Crosby Brownlie Inc., LME Inc. and Lighthouse Enterprises to complete the renovated office space in December 2019.
