The EFPR Group LLP moved into the 14th and 15th floors of the former Xerox Tower in January, and the employees quickly appreciated the prime location near restaurants, parks, theaters, and countless festivals year-round.

This cool space is within a mile of Geva Theatre Center, Blue Cross Arena, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park at Manhattan Square, as well as The Strong National Museum of Play.

The accounting and business consulting firm’s headquarters, in the city’s tallest building, features stunning views and clever details, such as Rochester-themed conference room names, a Zen garden, signage from the previous building, and paintings by local artists provided by Artisan Works depicting iconic local scenes.

The landlord, Buckingham Properties, assisted in renovations, including construction of an internal stairwell to connect the two floors, which required moving 96,000 pounds of concrete.

Workplace Interiors set up the cubicles in an open formation that allows for privacy, a view of the city and, coincidentally, pandemic-appropriate six-foot spacing.

Managing partner Jim Marasco was the visionary for the entire space, with emphasis on the café area and Zen garden. Marasco wanted the café to be a reflection of function, teamwork, fun and health.
