New York has third highest percentage of outbound moves, report says (access required)

New York State was among the top three states nationwide for out-migration, an annual report from United Van Lines LLC shows. The United Van Lines Movers Study 2017 shows that 61 percent of the moves were outbound from New York to other states. United Van Lines handled 8,381 moves to and from New York, with 5,075 of those heading out of the state. New York had the third highest percentage of outbound moves last year.
