Nixon Peabody selects new managing partner for Rochester office

LLP has selected attorney Matthew Carrigg as the new managing partner of the firm’s Rochester office.

Carrigg, who joined Nixon Peabody in 2015 as a junior associate, and was elected partner in 2021, will maintain his affordable and practice in addition to his new role.

Carrigg has substantial experience in all aspects of commercial real estate matters, as well as with complex financing of developments.

As office managing partner, Carrigg succeeds Jared Lusk, who led the office for the past nine years. Lusk will continue his practice in the firm’s affordable housing and real estate group, working on real estate development, renewable energy projects, and municipal law, including planning, zoning, and the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act.

Carrigg received his law degree at Syracuse University College of Law, and his bachelor of arts degree from St. Lawrence University.
