What opportunities do you see for growth or development in the Rochester area?
I believe there are still opportunities for underdeveloped sites along the river. Each has its own set of complications, but Rochester has a wealth of great developers willing to take on challenging projects.
What’s one project your team is especially proud of?
Center City Courtyard on Main Street and Plymouth. The project will provide supportive housing and over 160 units. Its location, the history of the site and ever-changing economic factors/budgeting made the development very challenging.
What’s a lesson you learned the hard way in your career?
Being deliberate about getting away from work and enjoying family and life. It took me 20 years to learn the importance of that balance and how to achieve it.
