Former Chili town hall property sold
Listen to this articleThe former Chili Town Hall facility, a prominent piece of real estate within the municipality, has been sold to a local developer.
Chili Development Group LLC, with a listed address of 3850 Buffalo Road, paid $950,000 to the town of Chili for 3235 Chili Ave. The property is zoned commercial.
Chili Town Supervisor David Dunning said the developer hasn’t yet revealed plans for the property but anticipates that it “will likely be some sort of retail development.
“It’s the heart-and-soul of Chili center and it’s certainly a critical property,” Dunning said. “Pretty much anybody coming into or going out of Chili passes by, so it’s a primary retail location.”
The purchaser’s business address listed on the deed is the home of Advantech Industries Inc.
