Application process underway for upstate NY Better Business Bureau’s ethics awards

Applications are now being accepted for the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York’s 2024 Torch Awards for Ethics.
The Torch Awards for Ethics honor companies with leaders who demonstrate a high level of personal character and ensure the organization’s practices meet the highest standards of ethics. Those practices in turn generate trust among employees, customers and communities.
The awards are meant to embody the Better Business Bureau’s mission of advancing marketplace trust. Applications will be accepted on the BBB website until Dec. 1.
The process is open to for-profit firms as well as 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) non-profit organizations that have been in operation for at least three years. BBB accreditation is not required.
Submissions should include examples, stories and documents that provide a robust and accurate depiction of an organization’s focus on character, culture, customers and community.
