FuzeHub announces grants that support innovations in manufacturing  

FuzeHub recently awarded 10 collaborative projects through its Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund, including three Rochester-area projects.

The local recipients received a total of $150,000. They are: 

  • Clarkson University, The Center for Advanced Materials Processing/Rochester-based Mosaic Microsystems LLC, $50,000 for planarization methods for manufacturing glass substrates for packaging advanced semiconductor chips. 
  • NextCorps/ Rochester-based Prolivio Inc., $50,000 for development of a migraine cooling headband, and  
  • University of Rochester, The Institute of Optics and Rochester firms AlchLight LLC and SunDensity, $50,000, along with Buffalo area firm E2H2Nano, for scalable laser nanopatterning into the development of high-efficiency renewable energy devices.
