Nothing says Santa Claus and party igloos like an 80-degree day in June, but vendors are nonetheless encouraged to make plans now for the fifth annual Roc Holiday Village.

The downtown festival, a celebration of winter and the holiday season, will run for a record 17 days over four weeks between Dec. 1 and 23 at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park.

Vendor applications are now being accepted for a limited number of spots in the outdoor Shopping Village and Mini Makers Market. Applications will be accepted online through June 30. Approved vendors will be notified by July 31.

Roc Holiday Village presented by Five Star Bank is a production of Jenna Manetta Knauf, owner of Bella Events Group; Kelli Marsh, owner of Kelli Marsh photography; and Sean McCarthy, owner of McCarthy Tents & Events and Nolan’s Rentals Inc.

The festival continues to grow, with an estimated 140,000 visitors taking part in 15 days of activities last year.

“This December we’re looking forward to presenting 17 days of festive fun and excitement with shopping, eating and drinking, live music, visits with Santa, ice skating and more,” Marsh said in a news release. “We are dedicated to supporting local businesses, providing visitors with a unique shopping experience and positively impacting the local and regional economy.”

Scheduled dates are Dec. 1-3, Dec. 6-10, Dec. 13-17 and Dec. 20-23.
