Veterans Outreach Center hosts annual Flag Day campaign
The Veterans Outreach Center is hosting its annual Flag Day Campaign from June 10 to June 14 at retail locations across the Greater Rochester Region.
Volunteers will be distributing hand-held American flags and collecting donations to support needed services for local veterans. VOC will also be hosting a one-day online giving campaign on Flag Day, June 14.
“Our Flag Day Campaign is a critical aspect of being able to continue to provide services for veterans,” Veterans Outreach Center Executive Director and U.S. Army Veteran Laura Stradley said. “Not only do we count on mission-driven volunteers for their enthusiastic help, but the support of the community ensures that the brave men and women who served our country have the support they need to acclimate back to civilian life. We look forward to our Flag Day campaign each year and we are grateful to our community who pledge their allegiance to veterans.”
