EagleView Technologies names new CEO
Piers Dormeyer has been promoted to CEO of EagleView Technologies, aerial imagery and data analytics company firm that has a workforce of 300 at its Henrietta location.
EagleView is a leading provider of aerial imagery and data analytics. Dormeyer has been with the firm for 10 years and most recently served as president of the Commercial Group.
His expertise in business strategy, organizational development and operational excellence were key factors in his appointment as CEO, the company said.
While Dormeyer is based on the west coast, he is expected to spend significant time in Rochester, the firm said.
“The company has seen unparalleled growth in the recent past, and I believe that we will continue to lead the industry by focusing on our cutting-edge technology,” Dormeyer said in a news release. “We have a talented team, and I look forward to continuing our work together to scale our innovative solutions and deliver unparalleled value to our customers.”
Now in its 25th year of operation, EagleView has clients in a variety of industries, including insurance, construction, solar and governement. Eagleview has an imagery library spanning multiple decades and 20 million+ square miles of geospatial images, which can be used to make better-informed decisions, increase operational efficiencies and mitigate risks.
Dormeyer succeeds Chris Jurasek, who becomes executive chairman.
