Robert Beck, CEO of John W. Danforth Company, has been named president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) for 2023.
Headquartered in the Buffalo suburb of Williamsville, Danforth has a regional office, pipe fabrication facility and a high purity fabrication facility on Old Dutch Road in Victor.
MCAA is a nationwide industry association serving the needs of approximately 2,600 firms involved in heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, piping and mechanical service. The organization provides education programs and materials to members. Danforth is a founding member of MCAA.
“Our industry must always be ready and able to adapt,” Beck said in a news release. “The issues and challenges that we face today are not the same issues and challenges that faced our companies yesterday, and they won’t be the same as the issues that are in front of us tomorrow.
“My goal, both with Danforth and with MCAA, is to always build relationships that help us stay ahead of the curve by reinventing how we conduct business and provide value to our customers.”
in 2018, Beck became the seventh CEO in the history of Danforth, a firm founded in 1884 that now has more than 1,000 employees across operations in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, Columbus, Ohio, and Burlington, Vt.
