March 25 — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester’s annual gala, themed “The Big Night Out,” was held at Oak Hill Country Club, grossing a record-breaking $120,000 for the organization. Proceeds will support the organization’s youth mentoring programs’ evidence-based approach, which creates positive outcomes including educational success, avoidance of risky behaviors, higher aspirations, greater confidence and improved relationships for the youth who participate.
