Two public relations initiatives spearheaded by McDougall Communications are finalists in the 2023 Silver Anvil Awards, which recognizes the best in PR campaigns.
Work for two different firms has been recognized: the U.S. launch of CooperVision’s MyDay Multifocal contact lens and the Contact Lens Institute’s See Tomorrow venture.
See Tomorrow was nominated in two categories, Content Marketing (Associations/Non-Profits/Government) and Integrated Communications (Associations/Non-Profits).
Coming out of the pandemic, the Contact Lens Institute sought to replace uncertainty and instability with energy. The byproduct of that desire was See Tomorrow, a multiyear, consumer research-backed initiative focused on opportunities afforded by societal change, McDougall Communications said.
The MyDay Multifocal U.S. launch for CooperVision is also a finalist in two categories, Marketing (Business-to-Business) and Integrated Communications (Business-to-Business). McDougall collaborated with Rochester-based Truth Collective on the integrated effort.
Since 1944, the Silver Anvil Awards have been presented by the Public Relations Society of America to organizations that successfully address challenging issues with exemplary skill, creativity and resourcefulness.
Other nominees include AT&T, the Defense Intelligence Agency, L.L. Bean and Visa.
McDougall Communications was founded in 2011 and assists clients across the globe with an array of services, including strategic planning, media and influencer relations, reputation and crisis counsel, and social media management.
