Lantek named Victor business of the year
The Victor Local Development Corp. will hold its Annual Business Awards Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 11th at Cobblestone Creek Country Club.
This year, 16 awards will be presented including Business of the Year, which will be presented to Lantek Companies. The business specializes in fiber optics, security and automation, and structured cabling.
The event’s keynote speaker will be Bill Foster, CEO of BioWorks Inc., which manufactures and markets biologically based pest control and plant nutrition products. BioWorks was recognized as the Business of the Year in 2022.
In addition to Lantek, the 2023 Award recipients are:
- Family-Owned Business of the Year – Sweet Basil Café;
- Financial Service Champion of the Year – First American;
- Health Service Provider of the Year – Kulp Physical Therapy;
- Manufacturing Business of the Year – Progressive Machine & Design;
- Technology Business of the Year – Solu Technology Partners;
- Women Owned Business of the Year – Marshal Dental Group;
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Emily Chen of Brooks & Harlow Salon;
- Emerging Retailer of the Year – Busy Bean Café;
- Retailer of the Year- Retail Merchant – AE Gifts & Clothing and Artisan Market;
- Retailer of the Year- Restaurant – New York Beer Project;
- Retailer of the Year- Eastview Mall – PF Chang’s;
- Town of Victor Legacy Award – Karen Guidarelli, director of operations of the Victor Farmington Food Cupboard;
- Customer Service Award of Excellence – C and R Vision;
- Shining Star – Howard Hanna Victor, and
- Ambassador Award – Mike Manikowski, the longtime former leader of the Ontario County Economic Development Corp.
