What do you enjoy most about your position?
As a labor and employment attorney, I thoroughly enjoy being a reliable resource and trusted business partner to my clients. To ensure I’m able to provide the best client service, I take the time to understand their core business before providing tailored advice that allows them to make the right business decisions for their company. I also take great pride in leading the top-notch team here in Rochester, that delivers exceptional service to clients who are navigating the most pressing legal matters today. Our team gives unique cases the time and attention they need to successfully protect our clients’ business and reputation.
What do you see as the biggest strengths of the legal community in Rochester?
One of the biggest strengths of the Rochester legal community is the collegiality amongst the attorneys and judiciary. As attorneys, we all have the common goal of providing the best legal services to our clients. We have very respectful attorneys throughout the community that enable us to learn from each other all while advancing the interests of our clients. The collegial tone in our legal community is set by the revered judiciary.
What are your favorite activities outside of the office?
As a longtime member of the Rochester community, I enjoy participating in and leading civic activities that enhance the quality of life here. My volunteer efforts have extended from academic enrichment and intervention to advocacy for women’s issues. A few of my favorite roles have been serving on the board of directors for the Rochester Women’s Network and Seneca Park Zoo. I also thoroughly enjoy any role I have helping with the activities of my three sons, especially the McQuaid football program.
