VoicePort, a Rochester-based provider of Software as a service (SaaS) automated solutions, has been acquired by a publicly traded Canadian firm, Enghouse Systems Ltd.
Founded in 2003, VoicePort’s offerings include automated, configurable and integrated self-service software for media companies with subscription-based customers, including inbound and outbound interactive voice response, AI-powered chatbots and web chat.
Enghouse Systems is headquartered in the Toronto suburb of Markham, Ontario. The firm provides enterprise software solutions focuses on contact centers, video communications, healthcare, telecommunications, public safety and the transit market.
The transaction comes 10 months after VoicePort acquired Montreal-based Amalee Innovative Systems Design Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.
