Merger of two large financial services firms includes a HQ office in Rochester
Two financial services firms operating as general agencies of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company have announced they are joining together to create one of the largest insurance and wealth management firms in the Northeast.
MassMutual New York State and Financial Partners of Upstate New York State will now operate under the name Vision Financial Group with headquarter offices in Amherst, Rochester and Syracuse.
MassMutual New York State CEO Joe DiLeo and Financial Partners of Upstate New York State CEO Sam Terrazzino bring a combined 60 years of financial services expertise to the local community. They will co-lead Vision Financial Group.
With a team of over 200 financial professionals affiliated with Vision Financial Group, the agency will now service $15 billion life insurance inforce and over $20 billion in assets under management.
“Local residents, businesses, financial professionals and associates will benefit from the added depth and experience each of these business leaders brings to the table,” said Joe Sparacio, head of field management, MassMutual, in a statement. “We’re proud of what they built individually and the number people they’ve helped over the years and can’t wait to see what they’ll accomplish as one firm.”
