ComTec acquires Texas firm
Listen to this articleComTec Solutions, an IT managed services and cybersecurity provider headquartered in Gates, has acquired RAM Software Systems.
RAM Software Systems is a business consultancy based in Richardson, Texas, that is focused on helping small- and mid-size manufacturers and distributors maximize long-term growth.
ComTec’s acquisition will allow RAM’s customers to access a deeper bench of services, including consulting and technical expertise.
“We are proud to provide RAM customers with an abundance of offerings designed to further their digital evolution,” ComTec owner and president Rob Moyer said in a news release. “Additionally, this acquisition will aid us in reaching our aggressive growth goals faster and with more precision to continue providing unmatched IT solutions through technology and best-practice approaches.”
ComTec is an Epicor Platinum Partner and will add RAM’s 30 Epicor clients.
ComTec said it plans to hire 10 new employees by year’s end.
