VisualDx recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of its new headquarters in Rochester’s Village Gate community.

The celebration included speeches from local officials, an open house and tours of the new office space, as well as light refreshments and networking opportunities with the company’s employees, partners and special guests from the Rochester business community.
Rochester Mayor Malik Evans, state Assemblyman Demond Meeks and Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce CEO Robert Duffy were among those in attendance.
The move was driven by multiple years of sustained and rapid growth for VisualDx, which offers technology to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient engagement at the point of care.
VisualDx’s assistive technology is used at over 2,300 hospitals worldwide and over half of US medical schools to help medical professionals and students make smarter healthcare decisions.
The new office space also better supports VisualDx’s “work from anywhere” policy by offering its nearly 100 employees more space to collaborate and the flexibility to work from wherever they perform best, company leaders said.
Art Papier, M.D., co-founder and CEO of VisualDx, said the company is the culmination of the best that Rochester has to offer – the intersection of imaging, healthcare and technology.
“We launched VisualDx in Rochester 23 years ago to make an impact in improving medical decision-making, health equity and patient outcomes in Rochester and across the globe,” Papier said. “We are proud to be in a fast-growing and innovative city that is Rochester and look forward to many more years of consistent growth and success in the city that saw us become who we are today.”
